A Murder Mystery by Chris Lewis & Carol Hutton
Directed by Jenny Dean
31st July, 1st August, 2015, Felpham Village Hall
Sudden Death At Thornbury Manor is a Murder Mystery presented as a radio play including radio sound engineers – producing the sound effects – and a newsreader/continuity announcer who acts as master of ceremonies and our audiences are the studio audience.
As with previous murder mystery events by The Regis Players, the play was presented for the evening performances cabaret style in the Theatre Supper tradition.
On the Sunday matinee performance the play was followed by one of The Regis Players scrumptious Cream Teas and hot and cold drinks provided.
Prizes were awarded for the best (and worst/most hilarious!) entries as to the identity of the murderer and the and motives for the foul deed. During the meal the suspects mingled with the audience to answer any questions and each performance had a different murderer!
